Our Idea
Stalwart was founded in 2011 with a simple discipline — to build the residences we would want our own families to live in, at the pace and standard those families would demand. Fifteen years, eighteen delivered projects and a thousand families later, that discipline remains the whole of the practice.

Before an elevation is sketched, we spend weeks walking the plot — noting the trees worth saving, the neighbour's balcony that would overlook a bedroom, the direction the monsoon wind arrives from. The building follows the site, not the other way around.

A non-negotiable of our residential drawings. Air must be able to travel from one side of the home to the other; no bedroom sits without a window on an external wall. It is a small commitment that a family notices every day for the rest of their tenancy.
